Appointing a Graphic Designer
Please use a professional graphic designer or template to create your adverts. We are unable to publish homemade artwork. Specialist design protects your brand and ensures your graphic ads and text ads display correctly across all formats, including PDFs, flipbooks, and web pages. A graphic designer provides the correct file type, typography, image quality, and colour space so your advert meets the high-end standards of Professional Leader Magazine and prevents technical publishing issues.
Planning Your Advert Content
• Research suitable copy for the title, subtitle, body, CTA, and contact • Refer to our page on the AIDA principle when writing copy • Decide the dedicated landing page URL for click-through tracking • Gather brand guidelines if available (logo rules, colours, fonts, tone) • Select one core message and one focal point to avoid clutter • Decide preferred contact route (website prioritised)
Supplying Content to Your Designer
• Supply your designer with the ad title, subtitle, body, CTA, and contact • Provide high-quality originals rather than screenshots or web downloads • Images and logos must be in RGB and at least 300dpi • Provide instructions regarding which elements you want emphasised • Provide licensed fonts, house styling, and corporate colours • Provide check spelling and contact details, email addresses, and URLs
Submitting Finished Artwork
• Supply artwork as the exact size of the printable area • Disable bleed and remove all the printer’s marks from the exported artwork • Supply a print-ready JPEG file in RGB at 300dpi • We cannot accept artwork supplied in MS Publisher • Send artwork to your account manager at Nicholas Hill Academy • Responsibility is not accepted for poor reproduction due to artwork errors
